This summer is going to be great! All new mind candy...Queer Eye is back and so is Kathy Griffin, My Life on the D List. Love them both, so many new episodes to see. Bravo, Bravo!
On to the wet vac. Oh, we've had rainwater in the garage before, and actually a couple of years ago Tim waged a little trench warfare in the yard to divert the huge puddle in our driveway. That works so well. No we get some streaks of wetness but nothing like the flooding that caused everything in the garage to float. However, until this very day, we have never had water in the cellar. Well, let's just say there's a first time for everything. I am SO thankful that Tim brought home a wet vac a couple of years ago. We really haven't used it much, but today we discovered that it's a piece of gold. Not only does it vacuum up water quite efficiently, it also pumps it out. All at the same time. What an amazing invention. Without that, we'd be up to our knees in water as there is not a pump to be had in New England. Literally. Everyone around us has been flooded too, if that's any comfort. Actually, watching the news makes me grateful every day, and today is no different. Some people in neighboring towns have been evacuated and tons of people are flooded out of their homes. Makes a little wet vac-ing seem like no big deal. Which it really isn't.
